The latest version of the MicroniK 200 controller from Honeywell provides many ingenious ways to reduce energy consumption in offices, public buildings and retail premises.

MicroniK 200 is designed for decentralised HVAC (heating, ventilating and air conditioning) control.

Typical applications include temperature sequence or cascade control with heating, mixed air dampers and cooling; and temperature cascade control with heating, energy recovery system and cooling.

Despite its energy-saving potential, MicroniK 200 is cost-efficient to buy and easy to install and set up.

Digital control technology and a user-friendly operating concept allow fast application configuration and accurate parameter setting, which reduces commissioning time.

The Honeywell MicroniK 200 controller is available as either a temperature controller or universal input controller.

MicroniK 200 is available with a real-time clock option.

This provides several additional ways to reduce energy consumption, including four operation modes (comfort, stand-by, night and off); weekly time schedules with up to six switching points per day; yearly advance holiday programming; a night cycle program and a self-adapting optimum start program for room control systems.

There is a choice of various floating, modulating and on/off outputs.

Three temperature sensor inputs are provided (main, limit or cascade and outside temperature compensation) and three digital inputs (plant system on/off, occupancy and freeze protection).

The unit measures just 198 x 130 x 37mm (H x W x D) and features a liquid crystal display, a rotary potentiometer, and four push-buttons for program setting by means of an intuitive menu loop, shown graphically on the front for easy reference.
