Housing association benefits from Honeywell
Dane Housing Group of Congleton, Cheshire, is reaping the benefits of a partnership with Honeywell to source all water and heating controls for its 4,000 properties.
"The benefits include extended warranties and opportunities to influence Honeywell product design," said Mark Davies, Building Services Manager.
"As Honeywell talks to tenants as well as our building services team, the products it develops are designed to meet everyone's needs".
"We meet regularly with Honeywell as one of nine housing associations and authorities in the Cheshire Housing Consortium." "We are responsible landlords, particularly to our elderly and vulnerable tenants, so are currently installing Honeywell TM200VP thermostatic mixing valves to ensure bathwater delivery at a uniform safe temperature in all Dane Housing Group's communal homes for the elderly".
Dane Housing Group has established a reputation for providing high quality, affordable homes and is committed to continuous service improvement, simplified through partnerships such as that with Honeywell.
Dane Housing Group was established as the first Large Scale Voluntary Transfer limited housing company in March 1998, when it purchased around 4,000 homes that were previously managed by Congleton Borough Council.
Dane Housing Group is becoming known as a leading innovator in facilitating and delivering affordable Special Needs housing.
It has established effective joint working arrangements, in partnership with a variety of agencies, to provide support and accommodation for vulnerable people in the community.
