Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jul 24, 2008

Up to date details of Honeywell one-day domestic heating installer training courses can be viewed online.

The intensive courses are held at locations throughout the UK to bring them conveniently close to installers.

At just GBP30 the courses represent excellent value for installers, who will be much better informed about many topics essential to energy efficient heating control.

The price includes a comprehensive training manual, lunch and refreshments.

Courses usually start at 8.45am and finish at about 5.00pm.

The courses combine theory, practical wiring and fault finding exercises, and guidance on sales techniques to help installers boost profits.

The courses provide continuing support for the Professional Development Programme of the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering and the Institute of Domestic Heating and Environmental Engineers.

They cover all aspects of heating controls installation and energy conservation, including the amendments to Part L of the Building Regulations.

Installers receive guidance on the selection and installation of industry-standard S and Y Plans, the alternative C, W and S+ Plans, and CM Zone - the new wireless control system which zones a building with radio control of each radiator.

Training courses can be viewed online at www.honeywelluk.com.
