Honeywell's wireless energy saving controls offer time and effort savings and minimise disruption according to Colchester-based heating installer, Paul Wareing.

Paul Wareing commented on the energy saving Sundial RF2 wireless enabled heating control packs from Honeywell: "They save over three hours work when I upgrade an old gravity heating system while replacing the boiler.

"It's so simple - with a Sundial RF2 pack there's no wiring between the wireless room thermostat and timer.

The timer just hooks onto the existing back plate during upgrades and the thermostat works straight away.

With no control cables to install or cable holes to drill, it's quick and easy for the installer and there's much less disruption to householders.

The wireless thermostat can be wall mounted, or used on its table stand so the householder can choose the best sensing location".

Paul has been a heating installer for 27 years since completing his apprenticeship.

He has had his own business, Paul Wareing Plumbing and Heating, for 20 years.

Paul continued: "Honeywell are the best controls to use for reliability and energy efficiency, so I use them regularly, from programmers to zone valves.

I've long been a big fan of Honeywell wireless controls and the new Sundial RF2 wireless packs make upgrades and new installations even easier and quicker".

Sundial RF packs have many features enabling users to avoid wasting fuel, as well as providing more accurate temperature control.

By matching boiler firing to the load on the system so it operates much more efficiently, therefore saving energy.

They are designed to be very easy to use.

Three types of Sundial RF pack are available to match a heating system's exact needs.

Each pack comprises a wireless enabled timer, a wireless room thermostat and (in pack 3) a wireless cylinder sensor.
