Hoppe announce Fapim partnership
Hoppe (UK) has teamed up with Fapim, Europe's leading manufacturer of emergency exit hardware, to produce the Panama exit hardware range.
Like a car without seat belts, a public building can't be used unless it has the appropriate emergency exits.
Choosing the right brand of emergency exit hardware has the potential to not only add peace of mind but also style to an interior.
Hoppe (UK) , the leading supplier of door and window hardware, has teamed up with Fapim, Europe's leading manufacturer of emergency exit hardware, to produce the Panama exit hardware range.
Keith Holt, Joint Managing Director of Hoppe (UK), explains: "A lot of emergency exits look purely functional without much thought given to style.
Obviously our first priority is to meet the legislation, namely BS EN1125 1997 for panic exit devices that are to be installed in public places and BS EN179 1998 for emergency exit devices where people are familiar with the exit and its hardware.
The Panama range fulfils both of these standards.
But we put the same amount of effort into ensuring that the styling maintains our reputation for sophisticated design.
The combination of the feedback from Fapim's global network of customers in line with our close relationship with our partners means the Panama range is well placed to become the standard in exit hardware.'.
