HOPPE (UK) launch Marseille range of handles

HOPPE (UK), the leading door and window hardware supplier, has launched the Marseille range to refine the classic design to meet 21st Century tastes.

A symbol of the Bauhaus movement, the U-shaped door handle gives many doors their unmistakable face.

Although part of the HOPPE range for over 30 years, HOPPE (UK), the leading door and window hardware supplier, has launched the Marseille range to refine the classic design to meet 21st Century tastes.

Keith Holt, Joint Managing Director of HOPPE (UK), explains: "It was important that the original design, which is still available in the form of the Paris range, was discernible".

"At the same time we made sure that the new design has an expressiveness of its own".

"The result is the new aluminium Marseille range, which is also fully compliant with the requirements contained in BS8300 and the latest amendments to DOC M.

The handle has a more rounded shape than its predecessors and we've also added a visible edge to the front".

"The contrast between the rounded shape and the accentuated line on the front gives the Marseille a unique identity".
