Hoppe scores birdie with customers
Hoppe (UK), leading supplier of door and window hardware, used its annual golf day at Patshull Park, Shropshire to strengthen ties with customers and suppliers
Forming relationships in the fast-paced hardware industry is tough.
Hoppe (UK), the leading supplier of door and window hardware, used its annual golf day at Patshull Park, Shropshire to strengthen ties with customers and suppliers under a different sort of competitive strain, as Keith Holt, Joint Managing Director, explains: "Our recently launched 2006 Vision and Values programme underlined our commitment to long-term partnerships".
"But we realise that it's not always possible to spend time building relationships at work".
"So along with our bi-annual customer visits to Hoppe's Swiss headquarters, the golf day is another opportunity for us to meet customers and suppliers under less formal conditions".
"There was a great turnout with 63 people participating in the golf day".
"Playing in teams and singly everyone enjoyed the event".
"Mine was, of course, the winning team and Richard Braithwaite, of Gibbs and Dandy won the singles game".
Keith continues: "In the evening we held a Gala Presentation Dinner, which 100 people attended, for the players and those who couldn't attend the day".
"Hoppe looks forward to next years golf day, and the opportunity to show our customers and suppliers how much we value our partnerships.".
