Pride of place on the Horstmann Controls stands at the spring PHEX exhibitions in Leeds, Belfast and Dublin will be the newly introduced ChannelPlus XL electronic programmers and time switches along with the highly acclaimed ThermoPlus programmable room thermostat range Both newly introduced ranges are a result of Horstmann Controls innovative 'Advanced Simplicity' design concept which sets out to eliminate complication from programmer setting, operation, set-up and installation

The completely re-designed and improved range of ChannelPlus XL electronic programmers and time switches are now easier to use and easier to install.

Key features include an easily read, bright blue back lit LCD display, menu driven programming and an automatic clock that is factory pre-set and automatically adjusts to BST and GMT.

Within the ChannelPlus range the H37 XL model is the only electronic unit capable of controlling three independent channels - hot water and two heating zones.

This is necessary for installers wishing to comply with the Part L of the Building Regulations which specify that in new build, no heating zone should exceed 150 2m without independent time and temperature control.

The new, improved range offers a choice of one, two or three channel control, ensuring there is a ChannelPlus programmer for almost every central heating system variant.

The new ThermoPlus room 'stats - which are nominated as the preferred room thermostat on WarmFront installations for the over 60's age group - are suited to both new build installations or replacement of older style electro-mechanical thermostats.

In addition to WarmFront installations they are finding a range of applications in areas such as local authority housing, housing associations and social housing.

Each of the three ThermoPlus 'stats features 5 pre-installed heating profiles from which the installer can easily select the preferred programme.

Because ThermoPlus 'stats feature an automatic clock that is factory pre-set and automatically adjusts between BST and GMT, this is the only setting installer's need undertake.

Experienced Hortmann personnel will be on hand at all events to discuss the complete Horstmann Controls range.
