New Horstmann central heating room thermostat

A Horstmann Controls product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Feb 5, 2008

Horstmann Controls new HRT3 is a16amp central heating room thermostat that majors on functionality, reliability and a clean, aesthetic design.

Designated the HRT3 and a replacement for the earlier HRT2 unit, the 'stat is suitable for use with all central heating systems which respond to a mains on/off signal.

Offering the same functionality as the HRT2, the improved 16amp (SPST) current rating of the mains model HRT3 broadens the scope of applications and the bi-metallic sensor ensures rapid and accurate response to temperature variations.

The simple rotating dial permits settings between 5C and 35C and the unit can be directly wall mounted onto a standard twin screw, galvanised wall box fitting via the in-built patress.

The ventilated enclosure is moulded in bright white for a modern yet discreet appearance and the unit is fully compatible with Horstmann (and other) motorised valves and central heating programmers.
