Warwick Castle select Rolawn Medallion turf

A Rolawn product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Mar 25, 2009

Due to the large expanse to be turfed, specialist landscape contractor Whitehall Landscapes laid large format 13m2 rolls using Rolawn's Turfmaster System.

Rolawn Medallion turf has been used to transform Warwick Castle's spectacular medieval central courtyard.

Ian White, Managing Director, Whitehall Landscapes commented "Our first task was to re-turf the central courtyard, required after removal of a Christmas Tree Trail that covered the lawn for 6 weeks over the winter period".

"Rolawn Medallion turf was selected by Warwick Castle as it combines an outstanding appearance with being hard wearing, slow growing and easy to maintain".

"We used Medallion Turfmaster Roll format to reduce labour time and to ensure rapid establishment in readiness for the new tourist season".
