Golfing society select Rolawn Medallion turf

A Rolawn product story

Rolawn's Medallion Turfmaster 2600 rolls have recently been used as part of the development programme at Royal Burgess, one of Scotland's finest parkland golf courses.

Royal Burgess Golfing Society's decision to create new features on their course using the existing ancient Cundys involved specialist sports turf contractors GreenTech stripping the surface off the topstones, carrying out remedial work and returfing large areas of the course.

Tom Brannan, Director, GreenTech commented "olawn Medallion turf was again selected by Roger Morris, Course Manager due to its enhanced performance, superior wear and disease resistance.

The large format 26m2 - 42" wide rolls were used due to the vast expanse to be turfed.

This reduced labour time and ensured rapid establishment in readiness for the playing season.

Further improvements were also carried out on a tee area using Rolawns standard 1m2 Medallion turf rolls".
