Harath Engineering In The Pink
Harath Engineering was commissioned to design and maintain critical power continuity for two data halls and a powerhouse at Pink Roccade's National Data Centre in Runcorn.
PinkRoccade, one of Europe's leading ICT businesses, has recently acquired the old ICI Data Centre at Runcorn from which it will be offering a range of shared and hosted services for its many blue chip clients As part of the refit project, PinkRoccade needed to ensure that the infrastructure had complete power system reliability with the flexibility to accommodate future increases in capacity or power redundancy

The uninterruptible power supply Harath provided comprises two Socomec UPS units a Delphys 800kVA by-pass and a 400kVA module which can be extended with additional modules as demand increases.
This system feeds 2 x 216-way pdu's and a 72-way pdu and Harath has provided switchgear to allow a second system to be installed in the future.
Harath Engineering, the UK's leading independent specialist in electrical power system maintenance, has a successful track record with PinkRoccade, having previously designed and supplied a UPS and generator package, which it continues to maintain and service, at another of Pink Roccade's UK sites.
