Homebuyers Can Own A Piece Of Bronte Country

A Hargreaves product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Sep 23, 2003

North West-based Hargreaves Homes, a subsidiary of quality homes provider McInerney Group, is offering homebuyers their own piece of Bronte Country.

The exclusive development, named Scarlet Heights, as opposed to Wuthering, is in the sought-after Queensbury area of West Yorkshire - one of the highest rural communities in England.

Perched on a high vantage point, residents will enjoy panoramic views of the hills of Bronte Country and the Yorkshire Dales.

Gerry Sweeney, Hargreaves managing director, says: "What really sets this development apart from other rural sites is the location.

With an increased choice in new homes, homebuyers are looking for something special and Scarlet Heights has this with its brazen name, cultural location and high quality specification of select homes.

"Queensbury is a desirable up and coming area - perfect for the range of luxury homes we are going to build, the area is attractive to working parents who need convenient access of the M62 motorway and who require a quieter retreat away from the cities from which to enjoy a quality home life." Queensbury is close to Bradford and is ideal for commuting to Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.

Construction on the Scarlet Heights development is due to begin in October 2003.

Scarlet Heights will consist of 22 properties comprising two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom semi-detached, mews and detached accommodation, and four-bedroom detached homes (subject to planning).

Prices are expected to be in the range of £80,000 - £200,000.
