Homebuyers Can Own A Piece Of Bronte Country
North West-based Hargreaves Homes, a subsidiary of quality homes provider McInerney Group, is offering homebuyers their own piece of Bronte Country.
A number of the homes will be formed in renovated mill buildings and all the properties will be constructed in sympathy with the old buildings.
The buildings will also be designed to make the most of the views of the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The Peak District National Park and the National Trust Marsden Moor Estate cover the high Pennine moors above Marsden, Meltham and Holmfirth, while The Pennine and the Kirklees Way also pass nearby.
Research carried out on behalf of McInerney Hargreaves by Hewes and Associates found that Yorkshire's first time buyer population is due to rise by around 24,000 by 2005.
On a simple household figure of 2.2 people, this means the Yorkshire region is in need of around 11,000 new homes to satisfy demand.
Gerry Sweeney, managing director, Hargreaves Homes said: "Our research found that 28 per cent of adult non-homeowners in the Yorkshire and Humberside region are intending to buy their first home this year, which means demand here is extremely strong, especially for the kind of affordable and stylish housing that we specialise in.
We chose Meltham in particular because it is a desirable up and coming area perfect for the range of houses we are going to build.
"Meltham is an attractive market town in a rural part of West Yorkshire, close to Huddersfield.
It is ideal for commuting to the major centres of Leeds and Manchester as well as the other business centres at Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax.".
