Hargreaves building products purchases
Lytag
Hargreaves Building Products has announced the purchase of Lytag , the premier lightweight aggregate producer.
Manufactured using pulverised fly ash, the acquisition of Lytag complements HBP's existing business, which manages and recycles the ash generated by coal fired power stations into sustainable building products As pressures grow on the construction industry to reduce its use of finite resources, Lytag has excellent environmental credentials as an industry by-product and can be used as an alternative to virgin aggregate
