New Rectangular Tile
H Johnson, the UK's largest manufacturer of ceramic tiles, has launched within its Aspects collection a rectangular tile to offer up-to-the-minute chic for bathrooms and kitchens.
From minimising waste and recycling tiles, to using environmentally friendly packaging, HandR Johnson has strong green credentials.
The focus of the stand will be on recycling, which will be illustrated by an egg timer shaped design that shows the recycled components that go into the manufacture of ceramic tiles at HandR Johnson's state of the art manufacturing plant in Stoke-on-Trent.
All of HandR Johnson's tiles have a recycling component to them by either being made out of recycled material, such as waste and excess tiles or material sourced from local pottery manufacturers, or the tiles can themselves be recycled.
Ben Marshall, Material Lab Manager, HandR Johnson said; "Sustainability is a crucial factor in design and construction and we have incorporated this ethos into our products as well as our processes".
"We are also pleased that a number of our partners will be joining us on the stand and we are able to display a diverse range of innovative and sustainable products at the show".
Experts will be on hand at the show to advise architects, designers and specifiers about the hottest trends and concepts, as well as how glass, wood, metal, and other surface decorations will enhance their own project.
Material Lab brings technology and creativity together; it is a stimulating environment featuring the latest ceramic tiling and other surface decoration materials and specifiers visiting the show can choose the materials they wish to use and take samples of their chosen products with them.
Material Lab specialises in sophisticated, bold, cutting-edge surface design for both domestic and commercial applications.
Whether it's a restaurant, office, hotel, or retail premises, it offers the latest innovative materials to suit a wide range of tastes and styles.
"This innovative space allows for experimentation, invention and the opportunity to break the boundaries of design".
"We are not restricted by convention and traditions, our aim is to offer our design colleagues a facility from which they can benefit and enhance their designs," concluded Ben Marshall, Material Lab Manager, HandR Johnson.
