Alabaster field tiles, with a softly elegant white satin finish, provides the perfect canvas for the room, while the glass border tile, Electric Border Blue, features a raised bubble relief, with a blue metallic shimmer background.
Linford continued: "I love all aspects of design, and one of my ambitions as a small child was to become a fashion designer, although my parents encouraged me to follow a more practical route and to become an electrical engineer.
"My girlfriend is the one with the eye for design.
The use of tiles creates a harmonised and continuous theme, and our home now looks clean and elegant".
Linford and his girlfriend love the refurbishment process and this is the second home that they have designed.
Linford added: "I love the whole trial and error aspect, talking to the suppliers and coming up with different concepts.
The feeling of satisfaction that you get when you look back and admire your handiwork is great".
Bringing technology and creativity together, a stimulating environment has been created within Material Lab, which features the latest ceramic tiling and other surface decoration materials, including glass, wood, metal and fabric.
Material Lab is situated on two floors and is also a unique space to suit all types of events from informal functions to product launches, seminars and debates for up to 80 people.
The Elements range draws on the natural weathered appearance and textures of geological strata.
This prestigious offering provides architects, interior designers and specifiers alike, with an organic concept in ceramics, helping to effortlessly create luxurious front of house designs.
The Spirit collection focuses on simple concepts, textures and minimal decoration, highlighted with contrasting accent colours.
