Material Lab showcases inpelle leather tiles

Material Lab, Johnson Tiles' design resource centre in central London, announce new partnership with Italian based high quality leather flooring manufacturers, inpelle.

Inpelle's unique leather tiles can be used on both walls and floors.

The partnership adds to Material Lab's range of cutting edge surface interior design solutions, which it has become renowned for since its inception in January 2006.

inpelle create high quality leather tiles using the finest quality raw hides and a chrome free ecological tanning process.

The result is tiles that are biodegradable, resistant to water and flammability and provide sound and heat insulation.

Each individual tile has an aluminium base which is lightweight, strong and flexible for ease of installation.
