The Working Well Together (WWT) campaigns' South West group and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have joined with Plymouth City Council to offer free training to local small building contractors.
Rosi Edwards, HSE's Chief Inspector of Construction, and Leader of Plymouth City Council Tudor Evans will visit the WWT mobile training unit to try out the training, celebrate the success of the partnership and commit to further action to improve the South West and Plymouth's health and safety.
They will also meet with a successfully trained delegate, Plymouth's Building Control Officers and HSE construction inspectors involved in the pilot to discuss the benefits of the initiative.
