The building also accommodates art exhibitions, receptions and performances.

The curved front to the Centre forms a space between the Chapel and the main entrance of the building providing a flexible space for exhibitions, performances and as a general gathering space.

The internal courtyard formed between the Performing Arts Centre and the existing Phoenix Building, provides an enclosed landscaped space.

The building features a reconstituted stone plinth, facing bricks, powder-coated aluminium windows, curtain walling and low pitch metal roof.
