The project will bring development, employment and investment opportunities to the area and will consist of 900 homes, over 350,000 sq.ft of office space and 80,000 sq.ft of leisure space for retail and restaurants.
The development is so vast it's predicted to change the skyline of Edinburgh.
Master planned by world-renowned architects, Foster and Partners, Quartermile will blend the capital's heritage with striking new buildings to create an exciting residential and business community.
Listed Victorian buildings will be regenerated and striking glass and steel buildings will take their place alongside them.
A range of luxury apartments, penthouses and office and retail space will be available in autumn 2007 with the completion of this exciting new quarter in 2012.
Hulley and Kirkwood has been appointed by Gladedale Capital to design the new site infrastructure as well as the current residential and commercial projects and future strategic planning of all other projects within the site.
