Hulse wins contract at BP Stockley Park
Bovis Lend Lease have awarded Hulse a contract to revitalise a building formerly occupied by a global IT equipment supplier.
Bovis Lend Lease, as part of their framework agreement with BP, have awarded Hulse; one of the UK's leading building services engineering companies; a contract to revitalise a building formerly occupied by a global IT equipment supplier.
Stockley Park, which is located alongside the M4, next to London's Heathrow airport, will then be occupied by some 600 people from BP, who are relocating from a nearby building.
The works undertaken by Hulse, will include re-commissioning of the entire HV and LV electrical installation, which has not been used for some 5 years.
As well as periodic electrical inspection and testing, in accordance with NICEIC requirements, the works will also include, re-commissioning of the fire alarm system, replacement of emergency lighting batteries, and a full service to the standby generator, to restore these systems to operational condition.
John Bird, a director of Hulse, said "We were very pleased to be able to secure this project with Bovis Lend Lease, and we feel that this can only help Hulse to continue with developing our business in London and the South East".
The project will be managed by Hulse Regional Manager; Nick Watson-Pill, who is responsible for all projects in London and the South East.
The works are due to commence before the end of 2006.
