HandV07 continues to grow

A HandV Exhibition product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 18, 2006

HandV07, the industry's premier national exhibition, is set to build on its success as new companies swell the ranks of those already committed to the event.

Following its impressive debut last year, HandV07 (NEC, Birmingham, 27 Feb-1 Mar 2007) the industry's premier national exhibition, is set to build on its success as new companies swell the ranks of those already committed to the event.

Boiler brands Vokera and Wolf Heating, along with air movement company VentVision, are the latest major players to take significant stand space at the event.

Less than 30% of space is currently available to companies keen to participate at HandV07.

Already confirmed for the show are Baxi Potterton, Ferroli, Lochinvar, MHS Boilers, Powrmatic, Vaillant and Viessmann alongside key players in air movement and ventilation, Airflow Developments, Flaktwoods and Systemair.

A full exhibitor list is available at www.handvexhibition.com.

Other leading companies signed up for the show cover automation, ductwork, fan coils, pipework, valves and a host of other equipment areas and services.

Amongst these companies are Belimo Automation UK, Crane Fluid Systems, Durapipe, Hattersley, Rehau, Smiths Fan Coils and Yorkshire Fittings.

"When we launched HandV as an event last year, we were responding to demands from across the sector for a national show that truly represented the industry to contractors, consultants and major retail, public sector, commercial and industrial end-users" says Rowan Crowley, Event Director for HandV07.

"That's what we believed we delivered and people came in their droves".

"The commitment we have so far received from the major HandV equipment manufacturers and industry trade bodies indicates the next show will be even bigger".

"Looking ahead to HandV07, the support is excellent and momentum is steadily building that will help ensure that the event is even bigger, stronger and better".

HandV07 will be packed full of exciting, interactive features and initiatives including a comprehensive seminar programme and the Service Engineer Skills Centre.

The seminar programme is likely to include sessions on the opportunities surrounding the Olympics, Competent Persons Schemes, renewable energy technology and the impact of Legionella (more details soon).

The HandV07 Skills Centre will allow visitors to brush up on key installation and servicing techniques under the guidance of industry experts.

Making sure the event delivers exactly what the industry needs is the HandV07 Advisory Panel, including representatives from top industry names, Baxi Potterton, Crane Fluid Systems, Flaktwoods, Ferroli, Lochinvar, Rehau, Systemair, Vaillant, Vent-Axia, Viessmann and Wolseley.

HandV05 attracted a final visitor attendance of 6,591 (ABC audited).

Like the inaugural show, HandV07 will be focussed on a visitor audience, comprising building services consultants, contractors and installers in addition to influential end-users from retail, public sector, commercial and industrial markets.

The event is co-located with RAC07, the UK's only dedicated show for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
