Hoses Meet The Latest Standards
During 2002 BSRIA in association with the HMSA (Hose Manufacturers and Suppliers Association) produced a Code of Practice for service installers relating to Flexible Hoses.
Commercial Manager Geoff Kelley explained: "This exciting development in the history of the company will allow them to increase their production capacity, efficiency in the manufacturing process and give an end result of being able to pass on the collective benefits to the customer".
"This growth has been achieved by a number of factors, but primarily down to their philosophy of building and developing partnerships with customers and putting the emphasis back into quality and service alongside an honest approach with customers." Alongside the acquisition of new premises the company are also planning on introducing a number of extensions to the ranges of braided flexibles that are currently on offer, with specific products targeted at the Health Sector.
The HQ wRED range of WRAS approved flexibles have been designed to stand out from the standard hoses that are currently in use in the UK market.
A red nylon fleck runs along the braid and a stamped ferrule confirm to the individual that these hoses are indeed WRAS approved.
The launch range of the most popular fittings combinations will be available from May 2007, with additional lines expected later in the year.
Another development this year from Hydraquip will be an environmentally conscious hose that is regulated for specific applications.
By reducing the amount of water used, it is possible that it may indeed pay for itself a number of times over, dependant on the current flow rate of where they are to be installed.
In continuing their customer partnership ethos Hydraquip have an open invitation policy where any of their past, present or future customers are invited to visit their premises, and see first hand the products they have available and the improvements they have implemented.
