The Oil Smart pump switch is designed to aid protection of the environment by allowing sump pumps to transfer water but to prevent the transfer of hydrocarbons.
The product is ideal for use in lift shaft sumps, building basements or any collection point where rainwater ingress can occur with the risk of contamination by oils and greases.
The switch, which differentiates between oil and water, will control any pump to allow clean water to be pumped to drain and avoid costly pump outs by tanker.
