Hygrometrix offers first major technology breakthrough in humidity measurement in 20 years - new direct replacement RH sensor show 25% improvement in accuracy.

The new HMX3000 series humidity transmitter is a direct replacement 4-20mA Energy Management Systems Relative Humidity sensor The key to this sensor is the 25% improvement in accuracy giving way to lower the energy consumption to achieve optimum comfort

The amount of moisture suspended in air has a direct correlation to human comfort level.

Pulling moisture out of the air is costly, therefore by monitoring the moisture content more accurately less energy is used to produce air with the appropriate amount of moisture vapor.

The new HMX3000 series humidity sensor provides better than 1.5% accuracy 0-100%RH with full temperature compensation from 0 to 60 degrees C for span and offset and digital calibration.

Previous technology offered 2-5% accuracy for relatively low cost sensors.

The 25% improvement on accuracy available with the HMX3000 is enough to justify changing out old sensors using quarter century old technology.

This is the first major breakthrough in humidity measurement technology in over 20 years.

The new transmitter has full digital calibration and no user adjustments or setup required.

We've designed the HMX3000 product line with a state-of-the-art commercially available ASIC to reduce part counts, eliminate potentiometers and dip switches which save you money and increases product reliability.

The ASIC also provides integral 12bit to 16bit temperature measurement.

An integral EEPROM holds the calibration data for the ASIC.

The HMX3000 utilizes the Hygrometrix Hygrotron sensor for maximum performance and reliability.

The Hygrotron sensor has numerous advantages over conventional humidity sensors including accuracy, ruggedness and sensitivity.

Part of the ruggedness is based on the sensor's similarity to a MEMS pressure sensor.

The sensor uses a proprietary and patented technique called shear stress/strain hygrometry to measure humidity.

This "mechanical" method of converting humidity to voltage via a 4 arm Wheatstone bridge is immune to many of the failure modes that plague other types of sensor technologies.

The HMX3000-RH-420 is priced in single unit quantities at $475.00.

Volume discounts are available.

Delivery is 4 weeks ARO.
