Superflush extends life of HygroMatik humidifier

A HygroMatik UK product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Apr 8, 2010

HygroMatik's Superflush cylinder rinsing system reduces the servicing requirements and increases the life of its humidifiers by extending cylinder standing time.

Superflush creates additional turbulence in the steam cylinder, breaking down scale and increasing the amount of scale being drained, reducing the need for de-scaling.

This can double or triple the cylinder standing time between services, further increasing the efficiency of electrode steam humidifiers and heater type (resistive) humidifiers.

A heavy duty blow-down pump is activated during partial drain-downs, and this removes a large proportion of scale deposits.

The Superflush system comes as standard in its heater-type (resistive) humidifiers and optional in its electrode steam humidifiers.

When the cylinder does need de-scaling, HygroMatik steam cylinders can be split for easy access and chemical-free cleaning.

Combined with the use of temperature and age-resistant materials, high-grade stainless steel components and a fully-maintainable design, extends the lifetime of the humidifiers and makes servicing simple and cost-effective.
