Nursery school children in Weston-Super-Mare recently donned their bright yellow hard hats for a lesson in health and safety from Ian Williams Limited one of the UK's leading property services companies at the forefront of providing services to the built environment with particular expertise in the education, commercial, and social housing sectors.

Youngsters at Windwhistle Nursery School spent time getting to know their way around their new facilities following work carried out by Ian Williams.

Complete with their reflective jackets, rulers and notepads, the children spent time listening to Contracts Manager Chris Hendy explain the dangers of playing on building sites and the safety issues involved in working on them.

"We wanted to make it a fun day for the children so we gave them novelty hard-hat pencil sharpeners and rulers whilst explaining how we all have to be careful when working and playing close to these areas," he explained.

Ian Williams were involved in building two new extensions to the school which provides a catering area, a kitchen and staff room, together with new toilets and a canopied play area to protect children from the sun and rain.

A cushioned floor has also been included in the nursery play area.
