Ian Williams delivers Decent Homes for Plymouth

An Ian Williams product story

Ian Williams has added to its Decent Homes project portfolio, winning a contract with Plymouth City Council to renovate and refurbish kitchens and bathrooms across its housing stock.

The GBP1.5m per annum contract is for three years with an option for a one year renewal.

The recent win largely results from Ian Williams being voted number one by the residents for its professional display at The Residents' Roadshow, a requirement of the tendering process.

Plymouth City Council sent out a letter to invite residents to the roadshow, which had an amazing turnout (pictured).

Ian Williams' displays of fitted bathrooms and kitchens showing the products and colour choices available proved to be a real winner with residents.

Kate Rooke, Ian Williams' Business Support Manager in Plymouth comments: "Having worked with Plymouth City Council for over 30 years, Ian Williams has become renowned for providing excellent resident engagement which is of growing importance for Local Authorities".

"We are committed to involving residents at every stage of our work so we can monitor our progress and ensure their needs are not only met but exceeded".

"The Roadshow helped inform and involve the residents".

Mike Turner, Ian Williams' Development Director, adds: "The award of this contract continues to build upon the strong relationship we have with Plymouth City".

"Ian Williams is dedicated to supporting the ongoing regeneration of the city and its surrounding areas.".
