Bristol City College new look from Ian Williams
Ian Williams Group has recently completed a £4 million refurbishment project at Bristol City College.
It also meant undertaking significant structural work on school buildings during term time.
This fact alone was enough to put off a number of other would-be providers, but Ian Williams drew upon its considerable previous experience of similar projects in the education sector to undertake a risk assessment.
Then, develop and agree a programme with Devon Property services.
Consequently the disruption to the school's 450 pupils was minimised - a fact clearly appreciated by Head Teacher Andrea Brown.
"We are very pleased with the results," she explained.
"Ian Williams kept disruption to a minimum and the team was very considerate - including taking breaks at times to suit the school.
Their whole approach was one of bringing solutions to any given problem.
They were friendly and professional." Simon Goard, Ian Williams' Contract Surveyor, explains: 'We are an experienced provider in the schools sector and continuing to win projects like Honiton is a testament to our quality work and customer service.".
