The very best of Ibstock's time honoured bricks are brought together with the introduction of the new Ibstock Ancestry Collection.

High quality handmade products from its six traditional brick making factories are now available under one name, with all the hundreds of years of tradition, local clay specialities and dedicated craft that this embodies The Ancestry Collection includes the bricks from the renowned Swanage, West Hoathly, Chailey, Funton, Pinhoe and Tonbridge sites, whose bricks are ideal for matching existing historic buildings, complementing local vernacular and achieving the premium appearance that is the prerogative of traditional brick

Dorset-based Swanage creates bespoke brick in a range of colours, and sizes with the character that only true handmade bricks can impart.

West Hoathly and Chailey, from East Sussex, use the unique, time weathered Wealden clays fired in traditional clamps and hand-sorted for quality and consistency.

Funton uses brick earth clays from near the Medway Estuary for its famous, yellow London stock bricks, which created London's Georgian streetscapes over 200 years ago.

Pinhoe, from Devon, uses the properties of 350 million year old clays to create an astonishing range of colours and textures, continuing a long handmade tradition.

The Tonbridge Ancestry range, boasts a special blend of bricks from Ibstock's Ashdown factory.

Here, a unique and respected line of handmade bricks, ideal for refurbishment projects, have been supplying special size bricks to refurbish our Tudor palaces and houses for many years, drawing on centuries' old craftsmanship.
