Ibstock is launching its new Elizabethan brick that recreates the 'Jacobean' style brick, popular for new and refurbishment work, especially on public projects.

Ibstock is launching its new Elizabethan brick - a unique blue/buff brindle colour combination that recreates the 'Jacobean' style brick, popular for new and refurbishment work, especially on public projects.

The unique colour enables the Elizabethan to blend with a wide range of other brick styles and colours.

The Elizabethan can be used in any situation as it is fully frost resistant, enabling specifiers a free hand in choice of location or exposure.

Previous specification of the brick has shown it to be popular in industrial and commercial projects in Wales, Scotland and the North of England, as well as large cities in England.

Schools and hospitals are also amongst the prime users.

Commercial production of this style of brick by other volume manufacturers has declined, as the unusual and prized combination of clay types to create the brick blend caused production problems for many.

Ibstock has overcome these to commence large-scale production.

Now with volume availability high demand is anticipated.

The Elizabethan conforms to BS EN 771-1.

It is available from the Ibstock Lodge Lane factory.
