Ibstocks bay window launched at Ecobuild
Ibstock launched new pre-fabricated modular bay window at Ecobuild 2008 which can be installed into standard brickwork in a fraction of the time of traditional bay window construction.
The new design is available in three sizes based around a lightweight steel frame for consistent high quality The new Modular bay Window is NHBC approved and is available in all Ibstock brick or stone finishes and be can either pre-pointed or un-finished for pointing on site

The Modular Bay Window is approximately half the weight of a traditional masonry built bay window.
It is designed to be installed with the help of a rough terrain fork lift truck, and is supplied with a lifting frame which is removed after installation.
The new window is designed to be installed on a ground level damp proof course (DPC), with DPCs fitted around openings ready for windows and a glass reinforced polymer (GRC) canopy.
Standard thermal performance is 0.34 W/m2K, which can be reduced to 0.20W/m2K with plasterboard and thermal insulation in the frame void.
