The latest issue of DZine, the quarterly magazine from Ibstock, promises even more insight into the latest thinking in brick than ever before.

Part one of a two part special, the spring issue of DZine, features detailed reviews of five projects from across the UK, each showcasing very different yet exciting approaches to brick design using colour.

The DZine's regular 'Back to Basics' feature focuses on design detailing with brick, including dogtooth courses, quoins and polychromatic brickwork, while this issue's project inspiration section includes four pages of inspirational buildings to whet readers' appetite for the coming year.

Andrew Halstead-Smith, marketing manager at Ibstock, commented: "When deciding on which brick to select for a project, two of the most important factors to consider are colour and texture".

"Our latest edition of DZine is the first of a two part special, focusing on the different types and combinations of colour that are available in brick design".

"Out in late summer, the next issue of will focus on texture".
