Emergency power is a crucial requirement for today's computer-dependent businesses and all three Bankside buildings have emergency power generator halls installed on 'floating floors' on the 12th floor of Bankside 1, and on the 9th floors in the other 2 buildings.
Noise from the diesel generators within these halls will be controlled by the use of custom-built enclosures.
To comply with the external noise criterion from the ventilation and aspiration air to the generator on 'B2' and 'B3', IAC installed purpose made 'splitter elements' built into the panel work.
Richard Lissenborough of IAC Industrial department said: "This contract further confirms IAC's top ranking among noise control suppliers here in the UK.
