IFC Certification announce UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) has granted further scope extensions.

IFC Certification announce that following extensive work from its team of professional engineers, technologists and Quality Assurance professionals, UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) has granted further scope extensions for: * Metal Fire Resistant Doorsets

* Door closing devices.

* Smoke Barrier devices.

With these extensions of scope IFC Certification plans to embark on further promotion of its services to the fire products industry both here in the UK and across the world, following successes in the Far and Middle East.

The new business areas have already attracted enquiries from UK and Middle East companies looking for the brand of pragmatic solutions that IFC Certification brings to the arena of accredited product certification.

The small team was expanded recently with the arrival of Chris Houchen who had previously worked for both TRADA's Chiltern Fire and BM TRADA Certification testing and assessing a whole range of fire related products.

Jerry Quayle, Director of IFC Certification says; "after extensive work on producing scheme documents which are both technically robust and pragmatic we are pleased to have passed (once more) the rigours of a UKAS assessment and with the inclusion of Chris within our company, as Associate Director, we look forward to extending the number of certificates issued across the board".
