Tube Version Of System E6 Energy Chains
Unveiled
Igus has unveiled the first-ever System E6 enclosed tube Energy Chain and a new adapter link for long-travel applications.
The company has also announced a new lightweight version of the E6-80 and additional inner heights for its low-noise, low-vibration line of cable carriers System E6 is designed for applications requiring extremely precise and vibration-free operation

The short pitch and link design of the Energy Chain substantially reduces any noise and vibration affecting machine performance.
System E6 is well suited for printing machinery, measurement equipment, precision-cutting systems and clean room applications.
Its modular design enables it to be easily lengthened or shortened.
The new E6-52 enclosed tube Energy Chain is an ideal choice for customers who need to protect their cables from debris and contaminants or harsh weather conditions.
The lids can be opened along a hinge for easy access or removed completely.
Igus energy tubes are designed and tested to shield cables from spatter, hot chips, dirt, dust, cooling agents and various chemicals.
The new system E6 adapter link improves gliding applications.
Inserted into the chain just before the mounting bracket, it enables the bracket to pivot, minimises excess lengths in end positions and is quick and easy to assemble.
Now customers have the option of choosing an E6 Energy Chain System for their long-travel applications.
The E6-80 now is available in a lightweight version.
The Energy Chain weighs 45 percent less than the standard E6-80 and performs well in high-acceleration applications due to its inner and outer size ratio.
E6-80 'Light' delivers high stability, yet remains a low-cost and low vibration solution when a large carrier is needed.
System E6 is now available in five sizes, ranging in inner heights from 29 to 80 millimetres.
Inner widths range from 30 to 600 millimetres.
