Integration Systems announce release of the most economical, network capable, Room Temperature Controller - the ION Tx PIR with built in presence detector sensor (Passive Infra Red).

To help reduce ever escalating energy costs, Integration Systems Limited (ISL) announce the release of the most economical, network capable, Room Temperature Controller - the ION Tx PIR with built in presence detector sensor (Passive Infra Red) The ION Controls branded unit features 0.5 Deg C accuracy set point; cooling and heating with dead band; Proportional Integral (PI) control; 220vac 3 speed fan control and open industrial standard Modbus RS485 network

By combining accurate temperature control with a presence detection sensor and networked enabled, the ION Tx PIR unit can contribute to major energy savings of up to 30% over existing conventional 'dumb' thermostats.

The PIR sensor also functions as an out-of-hours alarm alert when connected to a Building Management System (BMS) Supervisor.

An ION Starter Development Kit (SDK) is now available to prospective System Integrators (SI) that includes the ION Modbus configuration software application and a serial RS232 to RS485 converter to connect direct to a PC.
