IMS UK have increased their distribution of the ABRO range of certified steels in Ireland with the development of their association with Peleus Steels of Duleek.

Peleus have over 35 years of specialist steel experience within the mining and quarrying industries and, as the sole distributor of the IMS ABRO range; this exclusive arrangement will increase the profile of ABRO products in the Irish market Peleus will also stock a range of IMS high yield steels in addition to ABRO, with thicknesses ranging from 3mm - 120mm

Operating from a modern manufacturing facility, Peleus will not only stock materials but process them for customers - the factory houses its own design/drawing office, profile and plasma cutting equipment and has recently introduced a water jet cutting machine and steel storage area.

IMS Divisional Director Adrian Hance commented: "Peleus continues to exclusively stock the IMS range of certified steels and materials, and their profiling facility will significantly increase interest in the IMS product ranges in Ireland .With Peleus' excellent working history and reputation, along with the diversity of markets that they are involved in, the IMS range of steels will be introduced to a larger market sector- one which has a first hand need for steel." IMS will play a key role in the marketing and promotion of Peleus, offering technical support and product knowledge from Europe's largest specialist steel stockholders.

In addition to the ABRO product range, IMS offers a full range of certified steel available in thickness from 3mm to 120mm including Weld Overlay, Creusabro 4800/8000, high yield and RQT 701.

In house processing facilities in the UK include hi-definition, plasma and oxy-gas profiling, laser profiling, drilling, forming, machining and welded fabrication.

IMS are European leaders in the supply, distribution and processing of Wear Resistant and High Yield Steels for the anti-abrasion, anti-corrosion and mechanical engineering markets.
