Impossible looking roof shapes at
Interbuild 2006

JandJ Carter, an innovative tensile membrane roofing company will be at Interbuild 2006 to showcase a wide range of award-winning roofing designs.

An innovative tensile membrane roofing company will be at Interbuild 2006 to showcase a wide range of award-winning roofing designs JandJ Carter is the leading company for unusual tension membrane structures and has won numerous awards in the UK and the USA for design and manufacturing

Many of the structures would be impossible to create by using traditional roofing methods.

And director Robert Carter believes that the specifiers and contractors visiting Interbuild 2006 will be fascinated to see just what the structures are capable of.

The Carter creations are extremely versatile and Robert explained: "They are used as entrance canopies, interior ceilings, covered walkways, for sports and leisure facilities, exhibitions and conventions, landmarks and retail and commercial premises".

""The structures come frame supported, air supported or as a tensioned membrane structure and are generally supplied in white although special colours can be ordered." JandJ Carter, based in Basingstoke, was founded in 1988 and offers a complete service - design, manufacture and installation".

"It uses CAD for design purposes and the very latest structural calculations, computerised cutting equipment and manufacturing techniques".

"Some of JandJ Carter's most impressive projects include a seaside bandstand at Whitehaven in Cumbria and an entrance to a police station in Hertfordshire".

"It will be the first time the company has exhibited at Interbuild and Robert explained he was very excited by the huge opportunities offered by the UK's premier construction event".

He said: "I attended the show in 2002 and got talking to someone who had a problem with his PVC supplier.

I gave him my card - and I've been doing business with him ever since".

"I also made several contacts after attending the show in 2004, if you can generate business just by attending the show I can only imagine what you can do by exhibiting at the event".

Innovation will be prominent throughout the NEC in Birmingham when Interbuild 2006 takes place from April 23 to 27.

More than 44,000 trade professionals attended Interbuild when it was last held in 2004 and they represented a combined buying power of around £24.5billion. Request a free brochure from Interbuild - The Building Show ...
