Interbuild 2008 (Sunday 26th - Thursday 30th October) is playing host to industry heavyweights in a specially created outside area at the NEC.
Seek professional support says Interbuild
Following recent story about a builder who took drastic action by demolishing his handiwork after non-payment, Interbuild is calling on tradesmen to seek professional support.
It will be one of many practical and contemporary building interior innovations on show at Interbuild 2006, when the UK's premier construction event takes place at the NEC from April 23-27.
It is available in 2,000 different colours, including metallics and fluorescents, explained Richard Heath, the Owner-Director of Mia.
He said: "The Quartz System is essentially a blend of natural or coloured aggregates and specially formulated resin, which can be laid onto any floor and wall substrate to provide a bespoke finish that is both decorative and durable".
""And it comes in a shade to cater for any imaginable taste." Richard explained: "The Quartz system is adaptable for a wide range of home and commercial uses and can enhance any aspect of a property or premises - including swimming pool surrounds, patios, gardens and wall coverings as well as stone carpet, trowelled mortar and slip resistant flooring.
"Company logos can also be incorporated in designated areas and walkways." The company also offers The Flake System - which is an application of epoxy resins that was initially developed by Mia for university showerblock facilities - for a seamless decorative system, said Richard.
He explained: "It is available in a wide range of colours, it provides the perfect covering for counters and worktops as well as kitchen and bathroom floors, fixtures and fittings".
"The Flake System is entirely slip resistant and therefore ideal for showers or wet spaces".
It leaves a durable surface that is low maintenance and easy-to-clean - adding a finishing touch to internal and external solid substrates including showers, bathrooms and wet rooms, kitchen floors and worktops, swimming pools and leisure centres as well as nightclub floors and other decorative applications.
Mia Designer Services can also provide the perfect outdoor ambience with decorative and natural finishes for paths, patios, driveways and roads, which are waterproof and resilient enough to withstand the unpredictable rigours of the UK's weather.
