Interbuild 2006 will see the unveiling of the Kingspan Village, a community of Kingspan companies, coming together for the first time to exhibit their range of construction solutions Covering 510sq metres, the Village will ensure Kingspan has a major presence at the UK's leading construction event and will demonstrate the Group's dedication to leading-edge performance products and systems for residential and non-residential buildings, utilising sustainable and off-site technologies

The Kingspan Village has been designed to reflect the extensive and diverse nature of the Kingspan Group, whilst communicating the ethos of the company and its commitment to bringing innovation to all areas of the construction sector.

Rapid growth over the past few years has seen Kingspan expand to become one of Europe's leading designers and manufacturers of construction products and solutions for the construction industry.

With more than 20 manufacturing sites across Europe, the Kingspan Group prides itself on its integrated approach and product offering to property investors, designers, contractors and building occupiers.

The Kingspan Village is an exciting opportunity to see and experience a range of construction products and systems, and learn more about current developments.

It includes a Seminar Theatre which will host presentations covering a range of topics including systems applications, performance, life-cycle durability, construction methodology, sustainability, energy performance and reducing CO2 emissions.

The Kingspan Village is set to be a key feature of Interbuild 2006 and a focal point for visitors.

The extensive and diverse nature of the Village will make it a draw for attendees from all sectors of the industry.

A total of seven Kingspan companies will be featured within the Village.

These include: Kingspan Off-site.

Kingspan Off-Site specialises in the design and manufacture of off-site modern methods of construction (MMC) products and systems for residential, education, healthcare, hotel, leisure, commercial and justice market sectors.

These off-site systems are cost-neutral compared with traditional building methods and provide cost, build speed, quality and programme certainty thus reducing design and construction risks.

Off-site construction additionally enhances on-site safety due to the utilisation of mechanised installation methods, and a reduction in on-site working time by over 50%.

Visitors to Interbuild will see the first full demonstration of the Architectural Facade Systems, a complete through-wall facade system, manufactured off-site for immediate on-site connection to the main structure of the building.

There will be live daily demonstrations of this ground-breaking system in the Village during the show.
