Seek professional support says Interbuild
Following recent story about a builder who took drastic action by demolishing his handiwork after non-payment, Interbuild is calling on tradesmen to seek professional support.
Andy Finch, managing director at VacuDuct described the system as 'one of the best kept secrets in labour saving devices'.
He said: "A central vacuum system is a permanently installed network of interconnecting ducts that attach to a powerful vacuum that can be conveniently located in a garage or basement - offering an alternative to the traditional upright and cylinder portable appliances".
""Ducting installed within the walls provide flush inlets that allow connection to an external extendable pipe while inlets positioned throughout the house allow easy access to all areas for cleaning.

Builders top tipple is now wine
Independent research commissioned by Interbuild, suggests that the stereotypical beer-drinking builder is a myth and actually the trades' preferred tipple is wine.
When in use, dirt is sucked into the pipes and deposited in a large canister, which only requires emptying a few times a year".
One of the benefits of the ducted solution is that it totally eliminates the re-circulation of dusty air back into the house, resulting in improved air quality and benefiting long-term health by the reduction in airborne allergens such as dust mites".
"All materials vacuumed are taken outside, ensuring that no residual smells that are often associated with portable systems remain in the house".
Andy added: "A centrally located vacuum motor produces up to five times the cleaning power of most portable cleaners and as it can be located in a garage or basement area it provides the added benefit of noise reduction".
"Additional vacuum power results in deeper and more thorough cleaning, thus reducing the need to cover the same area repeatedly".
Users no longer need to drag appliances upstairs or find electrical sockets and Andy explained: "The only thing that needs to be moved is the hose, which comes equipped with a range of attachments".
"Central vacuum systems can cope with any type of home surface including carpet, wood and tiled floors, furniture, ceiling fans, curtains and blinds." Innovation is central to Interbuild, which features the latest products and technology for the construction industry.
Interbuild 2006 takes place from April 23-27.
