Seek professional support says Interbuild
Following recent story about a builder who took drastic action by demolishing his handiwork after non-payment, Interbuild is calling on tradesmen to seek professional support.
The two storey timber frame structure will allow visitors to inspect this unique house framing solution that offers reduced construction costs and significantly faster erection times.
ElecoFrame utilises a patented nail plate system which negates the need for OSB boarding on the outer face of the structure which makes the overall open panel design far lighter than traditional timber frame.
It is therefore easier to handle during the erection process and is not prone to the notorious sale effect associated with traditional timber frame when lifting.
Rigid installation is fitted on site after the erection of the frame has been completed.
This simplifies the erection process and minimises transit damage and unnecessary waste.
An integral part of Eleco's patented house framing solution is Ecojoist, a timber and metal web floor joist product which in conjunction with ElecoFloor produces a flooring system which delivers a reduced building height to the overall construction while maintaining the same internal build dimensions, thus offering significant cost reductions.
ElecoFloor is designed specifically to outperform the requirements of the building Regulations Part E, resistance to the passage of sound, and has significant advantages over flooring systems built up on site.
Eleco's Commercial Director, Paul Taylor said: "Eleco has developed a patented house framing solution comprising ElecoFrame, Ecojoist and ElecoFloor, which together continue to offer significant cost efficiencies, faster construction and reduced waste.
"This unique solution is a significant step forward in house building technology.
Its use will be particularly well suited to the construction of well designed, speedily erected and economically produced social housing. Request a free brochure from Interbuild - The Building Show ...
