But Ecochoice's major strength lies in its ability to offer large sections of certified timber such as beams for structural construction projects.
Brazilian-born founding Director Mike Bekin, said: "We are very excited to be using Interbuild as our launching platform.
The market for certified timber solutions has grown tremendously in the past year and Ecochoice is specifically geared towards addressing this niche market.
"Ecochoice is a solutions-oriented supplier, so we can cater for custom-made dimensions and profiles that match each project's specifications." Among its products, Ecochoice offers certified hardwood flooring and decking, sawn, planed or moulded timber, fences, cladding, timber poles and beams of up to 15 metres long, for use in bridges, gardens and marinas.
It even supplies bog mats that preserve marsh and muddy construction sites from heavy machines and vehicles damage.
Its specialist water-related line of products includes lock gates and embankment solutions, groynes, and general sea defence.
Interbuild 2006 will feature a special Timber Zone, which has been introduced to raise the profile of timber and to showcase the latest developments in the industry.
Ecochoice is sharing its stand in the Timber Zone with the FSC's UK Working Group.
The FSC system of forest certification and chain of custody provides independent assurance that timber and timber products have come from well-managed forests.
It offers an ideal risk management and procurement solution for companies and public organisations seeking sustainable materials in the construction sector.
FSC Director Nick Cliffe said: "There's a phenomenal increase in demand for timber that is independently certified and from sustainable sources.
Public as well as private projects are increasingly aware of the risks and costs involved in using timber from unknown sources.
"That's what the FSC system offers - a clear link between the end user and the source forests.
Ecochoice is a thrilling new proposition, already fully engaged in the development of market access to a number of FSC-certified products and species." WJR-Reef Hout's President Mr Herbert Reef said: "We're thrilled by the prospect of increased business in the UK.
We are long-standing supporters and investors in FSC forest operations.
In fact, our subsidary company in Cameroon is on its way to FSC certification.
"Ecochoice's clear marketing proposition has been deemed a key strategic asset for the delivery of our customer orientated supply of certified timbers and it is our pleasure to have appointed Ecochoice as our agents in the UK".
Apart from FSC timbers, Ecochoice will also promote OLB certified species from Cameroon such as Ekki, Iroko, Opepe, Tali and Doussie.
The OLB certified timber comes from forests working towards FSC certification (expected still in 2006), which have already had their traceability and legality independently confirmed by Eurocertifor-BVQI.
