Interbuild 2008 (Sunday 26th - Thursday 30th October) is playing host to industry heavyweights in a specially created outside area at the NEC.
Seek professional support says Interbuild
Following recent story about a builder who took drastic action by demolishing his handiwork after non-payment, Interbuild is calling on tradesmen to seek professional support.
The Showcase will be one of the most exciting features at Interbuild when it returns to the NEC from April 23-27, highlighting more than 140 new products with awards in nine different categories.
Annabelle Wilson, Marketing Manager at Ancon, said the products were suitable for all masonry to steel column applications.
She explained: "They eliminate the dangers associated with shot firing and because no power tools are required they reduce exposure to Hand-Arm Vibration (HAV)".
"The fixings either abut the steel or attach to the edge of the frame, offering simple, safe and economical solutions.
"The fixing time is dramatically reduced and without the need for drills and extension leads the work area is far safer".
Other new products from Ancon on show include the Ancon Shearfix system to reinforce concrete slabs against punching failure and Ancon Isolan insulated balcony connectors.
Annabelle said: "Interbuild is the ideal opportunity to evaluate Ancon products".
"Sales and technical representatives will be on hand to answer any queries and discuss current or future project requirements".
Ancon will also be exhibiting its full range of Part E-compliant wall-ties, that includes fixing solutions for traditional masonry, thin-joint blockwork, timber frames and light section steel studding.
The company operates from three manufacturing facilities in the UK with a combined workforce of over 300 employees and supplies customers from a variety of construction sectors including housing, commercial, infrastructure and civil engineering.
