Next Interbuild will take place in
autumn 2007

Interbuild, The Home of Building, will be staged at the NEC Birmingham for five days between Sunday 28 October and Thursday 1 November 2007.

Interbuild, The Home of Building, will be staged at the NEC Birmingham for five days between Sunday 28 October and Thursday 1 November 2007 The announcement was made today by Managing Director of show organisers Emap Construct, Ben Greenish

Whilst remaining at the NEC, Interbuild will move to Halls 3, 3a, 4 and 5 in 2007.

The Halls which have recently undergone a major refurbishment programme, are grouped around the piazza and offer the latest facilities for conducting business in an attractive environment.

Ben Greenish said: "Back in 1895, when Interbuild started, and for over a hundred years afterwards, the event was held in the autumn.

Our thinking that Interbuild should be rescheduled to this time of year was confirmed by extensive research and consultation conducted recently within the industry.

When we asked about timing, autumn was by far the preferred choice.

The new dates will mean that Interbuild 2007 now takes place in 18 months time.

"As well as exhibitors, visitors were questioned about the dates and they told us that moving Interbuild back to its traditional time would offer even more opportunities to visit." The new dates were made public at the NEC, where Interbuild 2006 is currently running.

The five-day show, which unites all aspects of the industry in one place, is taking place from Sunday 23 April to Thursday 27 April.

It has attracted 1,100 exhibitors and more than 45,000 visitors are expected to attend.

Another change for 2007 is the decision to restrict the size of stands to 190sq.metres , enabling companies to control exhibiting costs and eliminate the escalation of competitive stand sizing. Request a free brochure from Interbuild - The Building Show ...

Ben explained that Emap Construct has looked very closely at how best to take Interbuild forward since becoming sole owners of the show and added: "We have listened to what the market wants and acted accordingly to deliver an event that meets the industry's expectations and requirements.".
