The government confirmed that it will extend the scrappage scheme for a further 100,000 vehicles.

Vans over eight years old now qualify for the scheme, rather than the current 10-year requirement.

The deals for new wheels scrappage scheme applies to any new car or van when customers trade in vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes.

Simon Culley, marketing manager of Commercial Vehicles at Vauxhall, says: "Vauxhall is delighted to be exhibiting at Interbuild to offer the scrappage scheme to visitors.

By bringing the right selection of vehicles to meet the wants and needs of this audience we always manage to get excellent levels of data capture and valuable sales leads.

With the scrappage scheme in place we are sure Interbuild Onsite is going to be a roaring success".
