Live displays show examples of intelligent and affordable homes, along with the next generation of buildings for education, leisure and transport.

Interbuild also features a dedicated exhibition and conference platform, Interbuild BSF, solely for the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, with a particular focus on new schools in Birmingham.

Within the BSF seminar theatre, Jean Marc Bouvier from the NUDURA Corporation is to explain how to build a sustainable school on the first day of Interbuild.

A concluding seminar will be provided by Chris Jennings, a BSF education consultant at Redstone, highlighting how education can be transformed through ICT.

The first day of Interbuild on Sunday 18 October, the event also hosted the GGF Day (Glass and Glazing Federation) which has previously been a feature event of Glassex.

GGF delivered seminars covering topics such as Building Regulations 2010 and The Consumer White Paper explained.

Hall 5 will house flooring demonstrations undertaken by FITA and CFA.

The exhibition is being held over three days from 18-21 October.
