Interbuild celebrates construction innovation

Interbuild hosted the Best at Show Product Awards across Interbuild Onsite, Interbuild Specifier and Glassex Interbuild categories.

Four winners were announced across the three categories.

Flowcrete was awarded first prize in the Interbuild Specifier section of the Best at Show Product Awards

Judge Robin Hood-Leeder, director of membership services at The Federation of Master Builders announced both a winner and a runner-up in the Interbuild Onsite category.

First prize was awarded to Sure Stop for its Water Switch which offers households the ability to quickly and easily shut off water supplies on emergencies and for maintenance purposes.

Sortimo was announced as close runner up for its Sortimo Racking System.

The judge particularly liked the interlocking tool cases which are fully integrated into the vehicle's racking system.

First prize in the Glassex Interbuild category was awarded to Ultraframe, for its Lean-to Veranda Conservatory product.

Flowcrete was awarded first prize in the Interbuild Specifier section for its wide range of products that address the need for a more sustainable built environment.

David Pierpoint, event director, said: "In these difficult times it's always great to see manufacturers still focusing their efforts on developing the new technologies and innovations that will drive the future of the built environment".
